This is one of the most simplest and quickest recipes ever!
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- Low Cal Spray Oil
- ½ Teaspoon salt
Wash and dry your sweet potato then peel with a vegetable peeler.
Using a mandolin cutter set to extra fine, slice the sweet potatoes
Spray a little Low Cal oil onto a microwavable plate and place the sweet potato in a single layer
Add a little salt to each chip
Place microwave on power setting 800w and cook for 2½ minutes
Turn chips over and microwave on 1 minute increments until they have dried out and become crisp, this should only take about 5 minutes
You can try this with a multitude of vegetables, make your own potato crips or kale chips. Also try adding different seasonings if you want to try something new! Try cajun seasoning, onion salt, smoked paprika or dried dill
